In Volte Face, you are first given a subject. You have to start talking about it right away! But there is a catch. You must speak for 30 seconds on the topic. Then the buzzer sounds. Then you speak for 30 seconds on the topic. Then the buzzer sounds again. You speak for the topic again for 30 seconds. Then you speak again on topic for 30 seconds!

Volte Face not only provides amazing public speaking practice, it will actually make anyone who listens to you laugh! You see, you say for 30 seconds and then say the exact opposite for another 30 seconds. 🙂

Final exams are the saddest thing ever. Suddenly you have to swallow so much text and spit it out. Session tests are much better. It’s creepy — I keep forgetting whether I’m asleep or awake during finals — because everything is a blur. If the final exam was a mosquito, I would slap it right away. fuck final exams…

Whoever said that heroin feels ecstatic is kidding. Nothing beats the bliss of final exams. Oh, the fun of looting stuff at night! Who will study if there is no deadline? I remember my first year journey through the fairytale world of transformers and generators. Yes, final term is much better than class – you start writing and the professors have to shut up and walk around. It’s better to keep your mouth shut than what they’re talking about, isn’t it? Oh my final terms rock. 🙂

Public Speaking Event 2

You give the speaker a topic and give him a minute to think about it. And then after his one minute of thinking is over – he’s going to talk about that topic for another 2 minutes. That’s it.

I think it’s a great way to get rid of your fear of public speaking. After all, you are right in front of the audience and have to think of what to say right away!

Well, a microphone and a person who blows the buzzer. A minute later, the guy blew the buzzer first and let the speaker speak. He then made a sound after 2 minutes telling the speaker to stop talking.
