How to Improve Your Oral Health With Simple Ayurvedic Technique

Ayurveda is a holistic healing system developed in India about 3000-5000 years ago. Oil pulling or oil shaking is a powerful detoxification Ayurvedic technique that has recently become very popular as an alternative medicine for many different health ailments.

The man behind the revival of this ancient technique is Dr. Karachi. He wrote a research paper documenting the healing process involving cold-pressed oil. Using this approach, many chronic diseases can be cured without surgery or medication. Dr. Karach hypothesized that if we followed this simple regimen every day, we might live to be 130-150 years old. This claim is supported by many other scientists.

He claims that the following ailments can be effectively cured with the use of essential oils: Headaches, Bronchitis, Lung and Liver Diseases, Toothaches, Gum Diseases, Thrombosis, Blood Diseases, Arthritis, Paralysis, Eczema, Stomach Ulcers, Intestinal Diseases, Heart Disease and kidney disease, neurological disease and female disease. Oil therapy has preventive and curative effects.

The exciting factor about this treatment is its simplicity. It consists of cold pressed vegetable oil swished in the mouth for about 20 minutes. Ayurveda recommends gargling with oils to purify the entire system; according to this life science, each part of the tongue is connected to different organs such as the kidneys, lungs, liver, heart, small intestine, stomach, colon and spine.

Dr. R. Ballantyne, who has studied Ayurveda and Chinese medicine, said the tongue “is an indicator of the state of the body.” A flaming tongue indicates indigestion; a pale color, poor digestion; and a purple tongue, poisonous liver.

So how can you benefit from this technology and dramatically improve your oral health?

First off, I would recommend everyone to try oil pulling and see how it works for you. Here we’re talking about a very simple, non-invasive technique that may improve your health. I’m pretty sure you’ll be amazed by the results.

In the next paragraphs, I will describe the method in detail. This is how a person would perform oil pumping.

First, you’ll need some vegetable oil of your choice. Use unrefined organic oils whenever possible.

Not all vegetable oils are created equal. From my experience and numerous testimonials, some oils perform better than others. Dr. Karach recommends sunflower and sesame oils in abundance. It could be sesame, sunflower, peanut, walnut, almond, olive, coconut, etc. You should try different oils to see which one works best for you.

My personal favorite is sesame oil. I’ve noticed that if you change your oil about every two months, it’s like a new therapy. It’s hard to explain why, maybe the body is used to that particular EFA formula. Add a drop of peppermint or oregano oil to your oil pulling routine and you have yourself a powerful antibacterial agent. Oregano oil has powerful natural antibacterial properties and should not be abused.

Take one tablespoon of the oil on an empty stomach in the morning before breakfast, swish it slowly in your mouth, and suck it out of your teeth for fifteen to twenty minutes. To speed healing, this procedure can be repeated three times a day, but always on an empty stomach before meals.

When our digestive juices dilute it, it becomes thin and milky. The oil cannot be swallowed as it is more poisonous than spitting it from the mouth into the toilet. If the oil is still yellow and “oily,” it hasn’t been chewed enough or for long enough.

After removing the oil in the mouth, it is necessary to rinse the mouth thoroughly several times. It’s best to use a cup of warm water with a half teaspoon of salt and a half teaspoon of baking soda. Teeth, gums and tongue must be brushed carefully. It is recommended to apply the salt and soda directly to the brush. After rinsing, gargle with warm salt water. Then pour the cup under the nose and sniff the water gently to clear the nasal passages. Blow your nose lightly.

Sinks must be cleaned because saliva contains harmful bacteria and toxic body waste. Dr. Karachi examined the milky, oily gargle under a microscope. He saw living organisms swimming in it. It’s poisonous, so never swallow it, he warned. These toxins are bacterial embryos that, if not eliminated, cause disease.

Here’s what Dr. Karach said: “Oil therapy completely healed the tooth pain. Obvious results were re-fixing loose teeth, whitening teeth, stopping bleeding gums. A noticeable result of oil pulling was repairing loose teeth, which is What dentists can’t do”

For me, oil pulling has cleared my sinus infection, eliminated tooth sensitivity, made my teeth whiter and brighter, hardened my enamel, improved the condition of my gums, made my skin softer, and have more energy throughout the day. Oil lifting is something I will continue to do and I recommend everyone to try it out and see how it works for you!

Basically, oil pulling is, in my opinion, one of the best ways to stimulate your body’s natural healing abilities. You can perform oil pumping every morning. It’s a powerful detox, so you might want to take a break when you feel like it. Pumping oil for 15-20 minutes first thing in the morning is one of the smartest things you can do for your health.

For health and a better life!
